For this painting, we had to stretch our own canvases--it was way fun. Then we were to find a few items that "reflected our personalities" with which we would begin a still life that was personal, that we could manipulate to best reflect the artist. I started with more than two items, but once these two were on the canvas, I found I didn't want to put anything else in and risk cluttering up an otherwise nice space. Anyway, I love how it turned out. I'm very proud of this piece.
