This was our very first assignment in this class, a simple still life. We only had one block of three hours to work on it, and anything we didn't finish we had to do during the following week. However, by the time I came in to the studio to work, the vegetables had shriveled up, so I ended up doing the rest from memory, and I'm quite sure I will never again paint a pepper so perfect as this one.
