Sculpture 1 at Bard

This was a site specific design, intended to echo the environment in which it was placed. The site was a grove of trees on Bard campus, which, although  lovely when in bloom, does nothing but get in the way of Tewksbury residents (such as myself last year) going to the concert venue on campus. However, I purposely designed the line so that it won't get in the way if you're coming from Tewksbury, but will likely trip anyone going to or from the Toasters.

Update: I just recently found this conceptual drawing in one of my portfolios, evidently one  that I did in the planning stages of this project, so you can at least see the general design even if I have no picture of the actual construction. The snake-like thing winding through the trees is what I actually built, and this is what it would've looked like as seen from the window of my freshman year dorm room.
