"In A Box" Mime Company
Markers, Computer Paper, and Tape on a Cardboard Box

The assignment here was to make the box for some kind of commercial product--either real, inspired by a real one, or entirely fictional. A friend gave me the idea of using mimes, but I combined that idea with the traditional Jack-in-the-Box, simply because the Jack-in-the-Box has such a specific and well known relationship with the box he's in. So the "In A Box" Mime Company sells mimes, which come in boxes, and it's unclear as to whether they are real and jump out at you or whether some assembly is required, but at least half of the box is covered with strange warnings and precautions in several languages, so be wary when opening.
