I took this photo in my favorite cheese shop, Claudio's. The assignment was to pick any photo and make it three dimensional. We made several copies of the original, and cut out whichever pieces we wanted to "pop out" of the picture. We then glued those pieces back down, with pieces of foam core between the pieces to raise them off the plane of the page.
PS. In case you couldn't tell, those big things in this photo are enormous logs of provolone.
