This was a lesson in two ways to make pots. The base was made as by pinching out the shape, and I built up the sides by wrapping pieces around the top and attatching them. The handle, which cracked during firing,  is surprisingly strong because of the glaze. The inside is glazed with a clear, non-toxic glaze, so it can be used for food as well.
