This was an assignment specifically to draw a "cluttered mess" of something. The joke here is that my friend Becca, shown in the picture, is a mess all by herself. Since she's also rather messy when she's working (as she is in this picture) I decided to have her be my cluttered mess. I was using ink, and really just sketching, so I didn't want to use fancy paper, hence the newsprint. I also decided to make it a collage (to add to the level of messy) and I think it turned out rather well.
