for the Arts, Sculpture Class
During our last week, we took a
trip to a local gorge and made environmental sculptures, having studied
the environmental sculptor Andy Goldsworthy beforehand. There was a
fantastic little waterfall near where my group was working, and I got
this idea to sort of change the flow of the water, but without actually
redirecting where it went. So I made this pyramid shape directly
under it, so the water bounced off the different sized rocks really
nicely. The spray actually created a little rainbow, but I couldn't get
that on my camera.
