The assignment for this painting was to first make several sketches, each depicting some kind of "space" on campus with at least one person in it. We then picked the best sketch from which to make the painting. This shows my friend Maka in her dorm room.

Maka died on July 6, 2010, at the age of 21. I gave this to her family.
