This pattern of squares and a
circle is a highly simplified representation of the layout of
Philadelphia. From there I added other elements that I think are
important to the city, such as the golden skyscraper, Independence
Hall, and the "river" of
hot glue. Since this "river" is translucent, the last step on this
project will be to hook up LED lights behind the hot glue, so they can
shine through it. Check back for the undoubtedly awesome result.
PS. I've been asked what the star represents; it marks the place of 439 Gaskill Street. |
